Super Fireworks
We decided after much hemming and hawing to go to Santa Clarita to my nephew's house for the 4th. They have a fireworks show at the mall which is very close to them. So we walked over and parked it on the grass. When they started I was very pleasantly surprised. The fireworks were right over us and close. Very nice. Only drawback was they were also quite loud. My great-nephew (Nate's son, Levi) was not too thrilled with the loud bangs. (And I don't mean my kids.)Hope your 4th was...well, fun.

How long did it take you to get home?
To their house or to our house?
"loud bangs" hahahaha, i'll be laughing about that for hours.
We walked back to the house in 5 minutes. Then it takes about 40 minutes to get from Valencia to Ventura.
Not bad. That seems to be the normal amount of time it would take. We were at the college and I thought the firecrackers were especially loud as well.
